عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ: فِي كَمْ يُقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنُ ؟ فَقَالَ: " فِي شَهْرٍ " فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ سِمَاكٍ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى ثَلَاثٍ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ قَرَأَهُ فِيمَا دُونَ ثَلَاثٍ لَمْ يَفْهَمْهُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from Qatādah
✧ Abdullah b. Amr asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'In how many days should the Quran be recited?' He said: 'In a month.' He said: 'I can do more than that.' He mentioned the same as the hadith of Simak, until he reached three. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites it in less than three does not understand it.'
