✧ The prostration incumbent on one who hears it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا مَرَرْتَ بِالنَّجْمِ، وَ ﴿إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ ﴾، وَ ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ ﴾، وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَآخِرِ الْأَعْرَافِ، فَإِنْ شِئْتَ سَجَدْتَ ثُمَّ وَصَلْتَ بِهَا شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ رَكَعْتَ
Translation
✧ If you pass by the star, and "When the sky is split asunder," and "Recite in the name of your Lord who created," and Bani Isra'il, and the end of al-A'raf, then if you wish you may prostrate and then connect to it something of the Quran, and if you wish you may bow.
