✧ The prostration incumbent on one who hears it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
الْأَعْرَافُ، وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَ ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ ﴾، ﴿وَالنَّجْمِ ﴾، وَ ﴿إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ ﴾، إِنْ شَاءَ رَكَعَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ سَجَدَ
Translation
✧ Al-A'raf, Bani Isra'il, and "Recite in the name of your Lord," "By the star," and "When the sky is split asunder"—if he wishes he may bow, and if he wishes he may prostrate.
