✧ Do the desert dwellers pray it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ بِالزَّاوِيَةِ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَشْهَدِ الْعِيدَ بِالْبَصْرَةِ جَمَعَ أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَمَوَالِيَهُ، ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُ مَوْلَاهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
Translation
✧ He used to be at his residence in al-Zawiyah, and if he did not attend the eid in al-Basrah, he would gather his family, his children, and his clients, then he would order his client ʿAbd Allah b. Abi ʿUtbah and he would lead them in two rakʿahs.
