✧ Recitation in the prayer on the day of Eid

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَفِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِـ ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى ﴾وَ ﴿هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ ﴾
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to recite on the day of Jumuʿah and on the two Eids: “Sabbiḥ isma rabbika al-aʿlā” (Q 87) and “Hal atāka ḥadīthu al-ghāshiyah” (Q 88).
