✧ The Man Who Spits Blood

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:

إِنْ سَالَ مِنَ اللِّثَةِ دَمٌ فِي الْفَمِ فَفِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَإِنْ نَزَعْتَ سِنًّا فَسَالَ مَعَهَا دَمٌ حَتَّى تَبْزُقَ فَفِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَاللِّثَةُ اللَّحْمُ الَّذِي فَوْقَ الْأَسْنَانِ

Translation

✧ If blood flows from the gums into the mouth, ablution is required; and if you pull a tooth and blood flows with it until you spit, ablution is required. The gums are the flesh above the teeth.
