✧ The Man Who Spits Blood

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: رَجُلٌ مَفْؤُودٌ يَنْفُثُ دَمًا، أَوْ مَصْدُورٌ يَنْهَرُ قَيْحًا أَحَدَثٌ هُوَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَا وُضُوءَ عَلَيْهِ مِمَّا لَيْسَ بِطَعَامٍ

Translation

✧ I said to 'Ata': A man with a liver ailment spits blood, or one with a chest wound discharges pus; is that a ritual impurity? He said: No, and no ablution is required of him for what is not food.
