عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ، فَقَالَ: " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا يُصَلُّونَ قَبْلَهَا " قَالَ السَّائِلُ: أَرَأَيْتَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ ؟ قَالَ: " قَدْ أَخْبَرْتُكَ عَنْ فِعْلِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from Abū Isḥāq, who said:
✧ Alqamah b. Qays was asked about praying before the imam comes out on the day of Eid, and he said: "The companions of the Prophet ﷺ would not pray before it." The questioner said: "What do you think, since I have already prayed?" He said: "I have told you about the practice of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and you know best."
