✧ The greatness of the day of Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ كَمَا يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، ثُمَّ غَدَا إِلَى أَوَّلِ سَاعَةٍ فَلَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ الْجَزُورِ، وَأَوَّلُ السَّاعَةِ وَآخِرُهَا سَوَاءٌ، ثُمَّ السَّاعَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ مِثْلُ الثَّوْرِ وَأَوَّلُهَا وَآخِرُهَا سَوَاءٌ، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةُ مِثْلُ الْكَبْشِ الْأَقْرَنِ أَوَّلُهَا وَآخِرُهَا سَوَاءٌ، ثُمَّ السَّاعَةُ الرَّابِعَةُ مِثْلُ الدَّجَاجَةِ وَأَوَّلُهَا وَآخِرُهَا سَوَاءٌ، ثُمَّ مِثْلُ الْبَيْضَةِ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ وَجَاءَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَسْمَعُ الذِّكْرَ، ثُمَّ غُفِرَ لَهُ إِذَا اسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ مَا بَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْنِ وَزِيَادَةُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ
Translation
✧ When Friday comes, if one of you performs ghusl as he performs ghusl from janabah, then goes early in the first hour, he will have a reward like that of a camel, and the first hour and its end are equal. Then the second hour is like a bull, and its beginning and end are equal. Then the third is like a horned ram, its beginning and end are equal. Then the fourth hour is like a chicken, its beginning and end are equal. Then like an egg. When the imam sits, the scrolls are folded up and the angels come to listen to the remembrance. Then he is forgiven if he listens and remains silent, for what is between the two Fridays and three additional days.
