Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb saw a man wearing traveling clothes after he had finished the Friday prayer and said: What is the matter with you? He said: I wanted to travel, but I disliked going out until I had prayed. ʿUmar said to him: The Friday prayer does not prevent you from traveling as long as its time has not arrived.
