✧ A man coming while the imam is giving the khutbah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ لَهُ: " أَرَكَعْتَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: " فَارْكَعْ
Translation
✧ A man came while the Prophet ﷺ was on the pulpit on Friday giving the sermon, and he said to him: “Have you prayed two rakʿahs?” He said: “No.” He said: “Then pray.”
