✧ Whoever misses the khutbah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ:
الْخُطْبَةُ مَوْضِعَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ، مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْخُطْبَةُ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا
Translation
✧ The khutbah takes the place of the two rak'ahs. Whoever misses the khutbah prays four.
