عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُمْ جُلُوسًا فِي آخِرِ الصَّلَاةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا، فَقِيلَ لِقَتَادَةَ: كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ جَاءَهُمْ جُلُوسًا فِي آخِرِ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: " اجْلِسُوا أَدْرَكْتُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ فَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ: انْفَاي [١]يَقُولُ: أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْأَجْرَ
Translation
✧ If he finds them sitting at the end of the prayer on Friday, he prays two rak'ahs. Ma'mar said: Qatadah said: He prays four. It was said to Qatadah: Ibn Mas'ud came upon them sitting at the end of the prayer, and he said to his companions, 'Sit, you have caught it, if Allah wills.' Qatadah said: 'Infaya' [1] meaning: you have caught the reward.
