✧ Is There Jumu'ah for One Who Did Not Attend the Mosque?

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: "
مَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا جُمُعَةَ لَهُ "، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: فَإِنِ اضْطُرَّ، فَإِنَّ الْحَسَنَ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا فِي الطَّرِيقِ، أَوْ فِي فِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ، حَيْثُمَا اضْطُرَّ مِنْ ضِيقٍ أَوْ زِحَامٍ، فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ: فَنَقُولُ لِلْحَسَنِ: " إِنَّهَا أَرْوَاثُ الدَّوَابِّ، فَيَقُولُ: " يُصَلِّي
Translation
✧ 'Whoever does not pray on Friday in the mosque has no Jumu'ah.' Ma'mar said: 'If he is compelled, al-Hasan saw no harm in praying it in the road or in the courtyard of the mosque. Wherever he is compelled because of tightness or crowding, let him pray two rak'ahs.' He said: 'We said to al-Hasan: "But there is dung of animals there," and he said: "He prays."'
