عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْمُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عَامِرًا الشَّعْبِيَّ، وَأَبَا بُرْدَةَ " يَتَكَلَّمَانِ: وَالْحَجَّاجُ يَخْطُبُ حِينَ قَالَ: لَعَنَ اللهُ الْكَذَّابِينَ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ، فَقُلْتُ: أَتَتَكَلَّمَانِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ ؟ قَالَا: " إِنَّا لَمْ نُؤْمَرْ أَنْ نُنْصِتَ لِهَذَا
Translation
✧ I saw Amir al-Sha'bi and Abu Burdah talking while al-Hajjaj was delivering the sermon, when he said: 'May Allah curse the liars, and may Allah curse...' I said: 'Are you two talking while the imam is delivering the sermon?' They said: 'We were not commanded to listen to this one.'
