عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ آلِ حَزْمٍ قَالَ:
نَظَرَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى قَاصٍّ قَدْ طَوَّلَ، فَقَالَ: " لَوْ قِيلَ لِهَذَا: قُمْ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ اقْرَأْ فِيهِمَا كَذَا وَكَذَا، لَمَلَّ ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ Abu Bakr looked at a storyteller who had gone on too long and said: "If this one were told: Stand and pray two rak'ahs and recite in them such-and-such, he would tire of that."
