عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ،
يَقُصُّ يَقُولُ فِي قَصَصِهِ: صَدَقَ الَّذِي يَقُولُ: لَيْسَ مَنْ مَاتَ فَاسْتَرَاحَ بِمَيْتٍ إِنَّمَا الْمَيْتُ مَيِّتُ الْأَحْيَاءِ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَرَأَيْتُ عَطَاءً الْخُرَاسَانِيَّ يَقُصُّ بِالسُّنَنِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, who said: One who heard al-Ḥasan informed me,
✧ He narrated stories and said in his storytelling: The one who says is truthful: The one who dies and finds rest is not dead; rather, the dead is the dead among the living. Ma'mar said: I saw 'Ata' al-Khurasani narrating stories according to the Sunnah.
