✧ People Sitting When the Imam Comes Out

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، " تَكَلَّمَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَمَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ وَهُمَا إِلَى جَنْبِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَعُمَرُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿAbbās and Saʿīd b. Zayd spoke on Friday after the imam came out and before he delivered the sermon, while they were beside the pulpit and ʿUmar was on the pulpit.
