✧ The Man Who Is Uncertain During Prayer Whether He Broke Wind or Not

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلَى أَسْلَمَ حَدَّثَهُ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ: إِنَّهُ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيَّ إِذَا كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي أَنَّهُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ إِحْلِيلِي الشَّيْءُ، أَوْ يَخْرُجُ مِنِّي الرِّيحُ، أَفَأَقْطَعُ صَلَاتِي ؟ قَالَ: لَا، إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، يَدْخُلُ فِي إِحْلِيلِ أَحَدِكُمْ حَتَّى يُخَيَّلَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الرِّيحُ، فَإِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَقْطَعْ صَلَاتَهُ حَتَّى يَجِدَ بَلَلًا، أَوْ رِيحًا، أَوْ يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا
Translation
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'It seems to me during prayer that something comes out of my urethra, or that wind comes out of me. Should I interrupt my prayer?' He said: 'No, that is from Satan, who enters the urethra of one of you to make him imagine that wind is coming out. When one of you feels that, let him not interrupt his prayer until he finds wetness, or smells an odor, or hears a sound.'
