عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ بْنِ يُونُسَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ:
نص إضافيخَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ عَلِيٌّ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ، قَالَ أَبِي: أَيْ عَمْرُو، قُمْ فَانْظُرْ إِلَى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ: " فَقُمْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، وَإِذَا هُوَ أَبْيَضُ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ، عَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ وَرِدَاءٌ، لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَمِيصٌ " قَالَ: فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ جَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ حَتَّى نَزَلَ عَنْهُ، قُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ: فَهَلْ قَنَتَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا.
Translation
✧ I went out with my father to Friday prayer when I was a boy. When Ali came out and ascended the pulpit, my father said, 'O Amr, stand up and look at the Commander of the Faithful.' He said: 'So I stood and saw him standing on the pulpit, with a white head and beard, wearing only a waist-wrapper and a cloak, no shirt.' He said: 'I did not see him sit on the pulpit until he descended from it.' I said to Abu Ishaq: 'Did he perform the qunut?' He said: 'No.'
