عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُومُ إِذَا خَطَبَ عَلَى عَصًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، كَانَ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْهَا اعْتِمَادًا
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I said to ʿAṭāʾ:
✧ Did the Prophet ﷺ stand, when he delivered a sermon, leaning on a staff? He said: Yes, he used to lean on it firmly.
