✧ Recitation on the day of Jumu'ah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مِخْوَلٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْفَجْرِ بِتَنْزِيلِ السَّجْدَةَ، وَ ﴿هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ ﴾؟ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ ﴿إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ ﴾
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on Friday at dawn “The revelation of the Prostration” and “Has there come upon man?” And he used to recite in the Friday prayer Surat al-Jumu'ah and “When the hypocrites come to you.”
