✧ Recitation on the day of Jumu'ah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ،
أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَ ﴿إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ ﴾قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ Ali used to recite Surat al-Jumu'ah and "When the hypocrites come to you" in the Jumu'ah prayer. He said: I mentioned that to Abu Hurayrah, and he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do that."
