عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
هَلْ تَعْلَمُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ يَحْرُمُ إِذَا أُذِّنَ بِالْأُولَى سِوَى الْبَيْعِ قَالَ: " نَعَمِ، الصِّنَاعَاتُ " قُلْتُ: فَكِتَابٌ أَرَادَ إِنْسَانٌ أَنْ يَكْتُبَهُ حِينَئِذٍ ؟ قَالَ: " وَلَا شَيْئًا "، قُلْتُ: فَمَتَاعٌ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُجَهِّزَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " وَلَا "، قُلْتُ: فَأَرَادَ إِنْسَانٌ أَنْ يَقِيلَ حِينَئِذٍ قَالَ: " فَلَا الرُّقَادُ، وَلَا أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَهْلَهُ حِينَئِذٍ إِذَا أُذِّنَ بِالْأُولَى " قُلْتُ: إِذَا أُذِّنَ بِالْأُولَى وَجَبَ سَاعَتَئِذٍ الرَّوَاحُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " قُلْتُ: مِنْ أَجْلِ قَوْلِهِ ﴿إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ﴾قَالَ: " نَعَمْ فَلْيَدَعْ حِينَئِذٍ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَلْيَرُحْ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I said to ʿAṭāʾ:
✧ "Do you know of anything that becomes forbidden when the first call to prayer is given besides buying and selling?" He said: "Yes, crafts." I said: "What about a document someone wanted to write at that time?" He said: "Nor anything." I said: "What about goods he wanted to prepare?" He said: "No." I said: "What if someone wanted to take a midday nap at that time?" He said: "Neither sleep, nor going to his wife at that time when the first call is given." I said: "When the first call is given, is it obligatory to set out at that moment?" He said: "Yes." I said: "Because of His saying: 'When the call to prayer is given on the day of Jumu'ah'?" He said: "Yes, so let him leave everything at that time and set out."
