✧ If the imam does not give the khutbah on Friday, how much does he pray

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَجُلٍ صَلَاةَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلَمْ يَخْطُبْ، وَصَلَّى أَرْبَعًا، فَخَطَّأْتُهُ، فَلَمَّا سَأَلْتُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ؟ إِذَا هُوَ قَدْ أَصَابَ
Translation
✧ I prayed the Jumu'ah prayer with a man who did not give the khutbah, and he prayed four rak'ahs. I deemed him mistaken, but when I asked about that, behold, he had been correct.
