✧ Ablution from Vomiting and Regurgitation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَلَسَ رَجُلٌ فَبَلَغَ صَدْرَهُ أَوْ حَلْقَهُ وَلَمْ يَبْلُغِ الْفَمَ ؟ قَالَ: فَلَا وُضُوءَ عَلَيْهِ، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ بَلَغَ الْحَلْقَ فَلَمْ يَمُجَّهَا وَأَعَادَهَا فِي جَوْفِهِ ؟ قَالَ: فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْوُضُوءُ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْفَمَ فَظَهَرَتْ، قُلْتُ: أَتَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَهَا الْمَرْءُ فِي جَوْفِهِ بَعْدَ مَا يَظْهَرُ بِفِيهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَلَا أَكْرَهُهُ لِمَأْثَمٍ، وَلَكِنْ أُقَذِّرُهُ
Translation
✧ I said to Ata': What if a man regurgitates and it reaches his chest or throat but does not reach the mouth? He said: No ablution is due for that. I said: What if it reaches the throat but he does not spit it out and swallows it back? He said: Ablution becomes obligatory when it reaches the mouth and becomes visible. I said: Do you dislike a person swallowing it back after it appears in his mouth? He said: Yes, but not because of sin; I find it disgusting.
