عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، يَكُونُ بِالْوَهْطِ، فَلَا يَشْهَدُ الْجُمُعَةَ مَعَ النَّاسِ بِالطَّائِفِ، وَإِنَّمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّائِفِ أَرْبَعَةُ أَمْيَالٍ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٌ
Translation
✧ ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ would be at al-Wahṭ and would not attend the Friday prayer with the people in al-Ṭāʾif, even though it was only four or three miles between him and al-Ṭāʾif.
