Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Muṣʿab b. ʿUmayr b. Hāshim to the people of Madinah to teach them the Qurʾān. He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for permission to hold the Friday prayer with them, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him permission. At that time he was not a governor, but he went to teach the people of Madinah. Maʿmar said: Al-Zuhrī used to say: Wherever there is a governor, he admonishes his companions on Friday and prays two rakʿahs with them.
