عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: دُعَاءُ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ بَعْدَمَا يَفْزَعُونَ مِنَ الْوِتْرِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ؟ قَالَ: " بِدْعَةٌ " قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ النَّاسَ وَمَا يُصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ بِمَكَّةَ حَتَّى أُحْدِثَ حَدِيثًا
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': The supplication of the people of Makkah after they finish the witr in the month of Ramadan? He said: It is an innovation (bid'ah). He said: I found the people not doing that in Makkah until it was newly introduced as something new.
