Musannaf 'Abd al-Razzaq 5021
✧ The Qunut
5021 4985 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ [١]، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَّمَهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي الْقُنُوتِ ".
The text that “the like of it” refers to
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَّمَهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي الْقُنُوتِ اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ [١] كذا، والصواب: (بريد بن أبي مريم)، كما في مصادر التخريج.
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ taught him to say in the qunut: O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, and grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, and take me as an ally among those You have taken as allies, and bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. Indeed, You decree and none decrees against You, and none is humiliated whom You befriend. Blessed and Exalted are You, our Lord.
