Translation
✧ I saw al-Ḥasan meet Abū Rāfiʿ the goldsmith. He said: “I am between the two.” Al-Ḥasan said: “The qunūt is before the bowing.” Abū Rāfiʿ said: “No, after the bowing. We did it with ʿUmar.” Al-Ḥasan said: “How long?” He said: “Two months.” Abū Rāfiʿ said: “Rather, two years.” He said: And ʿAbd al-Karīm pointed with his finger, meaning in the morning prayer.
