عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
كَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالُوا: سُحِرَ الْقَمَرُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ﴿اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ ﴾إِلَى ﴿مُسْتَمِرٌّ ﴾
Translation
✧ The moon eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and they said, “The moon has been bewitched.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split” until “continuing.”
