✧ What Has Come Concerning the Virtue of the Two Rak'ahs of Fajr

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ،
قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لِحُمْرَانَ: " يَا حُمْرَانُ، اتَّقِ اللهَ، وَلَا تَمُتْ وَعَلَيْكَ دَيْنٌ فَيُؤْخَذَ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِكَ لَا دِينَارَ ثَمَّ وَلَا دِرْهَمَ، وَلَا تَنْتَفِ مِنْ وَلَدِكَ فَتَفْضَحَهُ فَيَفْضَحَكَ اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَعَلَيْكَ بِرَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِمَا رُغُبَ الدَّهْرِ
Translation
✧ Ibn 'Umar said to Humran: "O Humran, fear God, and do not die while you owe a debt, for it will be taken from your good deeds, and there will be no dinar or dirham there. And do not disown your child, lest you disgrace him and God disgraces you through him on the Day of Resurrection. And hold fast to the two rak'ahs of Fajr, for in them lies the desire of all time."
