✧ Lying Down After Witr, and the Chapter on Voluntary Night Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ أَوْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ مُسْتَيْقِظَةً حَدَّثَنِي وَإِلَّا اضْطَجَعَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to pray at night. When he wanted to perform witr, if I was awake he would talk to me; otherwise he would lie down.
