✧ The Last Prayer of the Night

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، فَإِذَا خِفْتَ الصُّبْحَ فَأَوْتِرْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ
Translation
✧ A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the night prayer, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The night prayer is two by two. When you fear the dawn, then pray witr with one.'
