✧ How Many Rak'ahs Is the Witr

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَنَسٍ وَبِتُّ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي مَثْنَى مَثْنَى حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ أَوْتَرَ بِثَلَاثٍ مِثْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ
Translation
✧ I prayed with Anas and spent the night at his place. He said: I saw him pray in pairs, until at the end of his prayer he performed the witr with three, like the Maghrib.
