عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا عَلِيٌّ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ، فَقَالَ: ﴿وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ ﴾أَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيْنَ السَّائِلُونَ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ ؟ نِعْمَ سَاعَةُ الْوِتْرِ هَذِهِ
Translation
✧ Ali came out to us at the break of dawn and said: "By the night when it darkens" (Q 81:17) — he pointed with his hand toward the east — then said: Where are those who ask about witr? What an excellent time for witr this is!
