عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ، فَقَالَ: " وِتْرُ الْأَكْيَاسِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، وَوِتْرُ الْأَقْوِيَاءِ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ "، قُلْتُ: فَكَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ: " أَمَّا أَنَا إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْأَكْيَاسِ كُنْتُ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from Qatādah, who said:
✧ He was asked about witr, and he said: The witr of the prudent is at the beginning of the night, and the witr of the strong is at the end of the night. I said: What do you do? He said: As for me, if I can be among the prudent, I am.
