عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ
سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَمْ يُوتِرْ حَتَّى فَجَرَ الْفَجْرُ، قَالَ: قَدْ فَاتَهُ الْوِتْرُ فَلَا يُوتِرُ، قِيلَ لَهُ: أَعِلْمٌ أَمْ رَأْيٌ ؟
Translation
✧ He was asked about a man who did not pray witr until dawn broke. He said: "The witr has passed him by, so he should not pray it." It was said to him: "Is this knowledge or opinion?"
