عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوَفِّي الصَّلَاةَ فِي السَّفَرِ إِلَّا سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ: " وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تُوَفِّي الصَّلَاةَ فِي السَّفَرِ وَتَصُومُ " قَالَ: وَسَافَرَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَوْفَى سَعْدٌ الصَّلَاةَ وَصَامَ، وَقَصَرَ الْقَوْمُ وَأَفْطَرُوا فَقَالُوا لِسَعْدٍ: كَيْفَ يُفْطِرُونَ وَيَقْصُرُونَ وَأَنْتَ تُتِمُّهَا وَتَصُومُ ؟ قَالَ: " دُونَكُمْ أَمْرَكُمْ؛ فَإِنِّي أَعْلَمُ بِشَأْنِي " قَالَ: فَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهُ عَلَيْهِمْ سَعْدٌ وَلَمْ يَنْهَهُمْ عَنْهُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, from ʿAṭāʾ, who said:
✧ I do not know anyone among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ who used to complete the prayer while traveling except Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas. He said: "And 'A'ishah used to complete the prayer while traveling and fast." He said: And Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas traveled with a group of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and Sa'd completed the prayer and fasted, while the people shortened and broke their fast. They said to Sa'd: "How is it that they break their fast and shorten while you complete it and fast?" He said: "Keep to your own affair; for I know better about my own situation." He said: Sa'd did not forbid it to them, nor did he prohibit them from it.
