✧ Supererogatory Prayer While Traveling

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَا يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَلَا يَدَعُهُمَا فِي الْحَضَرِ
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿUmar would not pray the two rakʿahs of Fajr while traveling, and he would not abandon them while at home.
