✧ One Who Forgot the Prayer of Residence, and Combining Two Prayers While Traveling

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ:
أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ لَيْلَةَ خَرَجَ مِنْ أَرْضِهِ قَالَ: " فَكَانَ مَنْ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا يُؤَخِّرُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَيُعَجِّلُ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ يُجْمَعَانِ، وَيُؤَخِّرُ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَيُعَجِّلُ مِنَ الْعِشَاءِ ثُمَّ يُجْمَعَانِ
Translation
✧ Ibn 'Abbas combined the sunset and night prayers on the night he left his land. He said: 'Whoever combined them would delay the noon prayer and advance the afternoon prayer, then combine them, and delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer, then combine them.'
