عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ
فِي رَجُلٍ مَكِّيٍّ يُرِيدُ الْكُوفَةَ فَسَارَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ يَبْرِينَ الْمُرْتَفِعَ أَوْ نَحْوَهَا، ثُمَّ بَدَتْ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ فَرَجَعَ قَالَ: " يُتِمُّ الصَّلَاةَ؛ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ سَفَرًا يَقْصُرُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation

✧ Regarding a man from Makkah who wants to go to Kufah, so he travels until he reaches Yabrin al-Murtafi' or the like, then a need arises for him and he returns. He said: "He completes the prayer, because he has not reached a journey in which prayer may be shortened."
