machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from al-Thawrī, said:
✧ When a traveler leads residents in prayer and prays one rak'ah with them, then loses his ablution and brings forward a man who missed one rak'ah—it would have been proper for him not to bring forward anyone except one who caught [the prayer from the beginning], but he brought this one forward. He prays the remainder of his prayer with them, then withdraws and brings forward a man from those who caught the entire prayer, and he says the salam. Then he stands and makes up what he missed.
