عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ
فِي مُسَافِرٍ أَمَّ قَوْمًا مُقِيمِينَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ أَرْبَعًا قَالَ: " لَا يُجْزِيهِمْ يَسْتَقْبِلُونَ، وَقَدْ قَصَرَ هُوَ صَلَاتَهُ
Translation

✧ Regarding a traveler who led a group of residents in prayer and prayed four [rak'ahs] with them. He said: "It does not suffice them. They start over. He has shortened his own prayer."
