عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ اشْتَرَى شَيْئًا مِنْ رَجُلٍ - أَحْسَبُهُ نَاقَةً - فَخَرَجَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا فَقَصَرَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ تَامٍّ أَوْ أَرْبَعٍ، كَذَا، بُرُدٍ
Translation
✧ Ibn 'Umar bought something from a man—I think it was a she-camel—and he went out to look at it and shortened the prayer. That was a journey of a full day, or four—like that—barids.
