عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ:
أَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُسْمِعُكَ الْقِرَاءَةَ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ بِالنَّهَارِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، مِنَ السُّورَةِ الشَّيْءَ وَهُوَ يَسِيرٌ
Translation
✧ Did Ibn ʿUmar make you hear the recitation in voluntary prayer during the day? He said, 'Yes, a little of the surah, and it was little.'
