✧ How should he sit when he prays sitting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ،
أَنَّ عَطَاءً الْخُرَاسَانِيَّ: " كَانَ يَحْتَبِي فِي صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: مِمَّنَ أَخَذْتَ هَذَا ؟ وَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِحَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: مَا أَرَى أَخَذْتُهُ إِلَّا مِنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ
Translation
✧ Ata al-Khurasani would sit with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment during voluntary prayer. I said to him, "From whom did you take this?" And I told him the hadith of al-Zuhri from Ibn al-Musayyab, who said, "I think I only took it from Ibn al-Musayyab."
