✧ Prayer while sitting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْنَا عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا، وَلَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَاعِدًا "، قُلْتُ: كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَتْ: " كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا، وَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا
Translation
✧ We asked Aishah about the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ. She said: "The Prophet ﷺ used to pray for a long time at night standing, and for a long time sitting." I said: "How did he do it?" She said: "When he recited while standing, he bowed while standing, and when he recited while sitting, he bowed while sitting."
