Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out one day while Abū Bakr was leading the people in prayer. Abū Bakr started to step back, but the Prophet ﷺ gestured to him to keep praying as he was. He said: Then the Prophet ﷺ came and sat at his side. The people prayed following the prayer of Abū Bakr, and Abū Bakr prayed following the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ, while the Prophet ﷺ was sitting.
